Pioneer times at Fredonia, Wisconsin and Indian stories of long ago by Bernard J. Cigrand of Batavia, Illinois, transcribed and edited by Mary Thill, 1999.This book is a compliation of a series of interesting articles written by Bernard J. Cigrand, the founder of Flag Day. The articles were published in the Port Washington Star newspaper from May 1921 - January 1922 and offer anecdotes of settlers near Fredonia, Wisconsin and the Native American presence there. Softcover, 88 pages.
